It is the firm conviction of this journalist, when one sees the word "safe" followed by the word "although" in the sentence, be sure to read everything that follows the "although!"

We all do realize how close our mouths are to our noses, right? Please use common sense on this situation. I do not have all the details, but when officials tell us to avoid getting any water in the nose, please don't take the chance of having it anywhere near your face.
